One person was injured in a house fire in Southeast Portland late Thursday morning.
The name and condition of the victim was not immediately released.
According to Portland Fire & Rescue, crews responded to a report of a residential fire at 10:18 a.m. on June 12 at 11283 SE Pine Ct. When they arrived, fire could be seen extending into the attic and eaves at the rear of the home.
One patient was identified and cross-trained paramedic firefighters began providing emergency medical care. An ambulance from AMR responded to assist with patient care and transportation to an area hospital.
Firefighters entered the home and conducted a thorough primary and secondary search. Once the structure was confirmed vacant, the fire was extinguished in five minutes.
A fire investigator responded to the scene to determine cause and damage estimates.
