Teenage boy stabbed in Southeast Portland
Police are looking for a suspect who stabbed a 15-year-old boy in Southeast Portland early Sunday.
The boy, whose name was not released, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 6'3" tall, 185 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
According to police, at 1:14 a.m. on June 15, East Precinct officers responded to the 100 block of Southeast 146th Avenue on the report of a stabbing. Officers and medical personnel arrived and located the victim. He was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment.
Officers learned that the victim and his two friends were in a verbal altercation with the suspect, who pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim, then fled. Several officers checked the area for the suspect but did not locate anyone matching his description.
