Woman, 68, missing in Clackamas
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 68-year-old woman who suffers from dementia.
Paulette Louise Chandler recently moved by family members to the Eagle Creek area from the Sacred Heart Villa in Portland. Her family reported her missing around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31. The last possible sighting of Ms. Chandler was near the Motel 6 on SE 97th Ave in Clackamas.
The CCSO Search & Rescue Team is conducting a search of the Clackamas area for Chander. She is described as 5'5" tall, 160 pounds, with gray hair, blue eyes, and probably wearing a purple shirt, red or purple jacket, blue jeans with possible flower print, carrying a black purse and a cane.
Chandler is reported to have no short term memory due to dementia. She may also suffer from mild hallucinations during which she would see things which are not really there. Family members said she would appear being lost, dazed, and confused more than anything.
Anyone who has seen or may have any information regarding Paulette Chandler is urged to call 911 to assist the Sheriff's Office in locating her.
