A Concordia University student was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night while waiting for a bus.
The female student was not hurt. Police described the suspects as younger African American males. One was darker-skinned and had a large afro, and another was armed with a handgun.
According to police, at 9:12 p.m. on Sept. 3, North Precinct officers responded to Concordia University, located at 2811 Northeast Holman Street, on the report that a young woman was robbed at gunpoint.
Responding officers checked the area and located the victim, a female student. The said that she was waiting for a bus next to campus when three young men approached her and demanded her wallet and phone. The victim told police that one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.
The victim told officers that the three suspects got into a dark-colored SUV and drove out of the area.
