NE Portland woman injured in early morning shooting
Portland police are looking for the person who fired a gun and injured a 49-year-old woman early Friday morning.
The woman was treated at a Portland hospital for a gunshot wound to her leg. Police said it was a non-life-threatening wound. The victim's name has not been released.
The shooting happened at about 3:24 a.m. March 17. North Precinct officers were called to the area of Northeast Mallory Avenue and Beech Street, where they found the woman suffering from the wound. Police did not find a suspect, and the victim was not cooperative, officers said.
