Three arrested for SE Portland robber
Three suspects have been arrested for allegedly robbing a public storage facility in Southeast Portland on Saturday.
The suspects are 28-year-old Jody Wafer, 29-year-old Trent Knight, and 27-year-old Brittany Kizzee . They are all charged with robbery in the first degree, robbery in the second degree, kidnap in the first degree. They are also being detailed in federal holds.
According to police, at 10:35 a.m. on Dec. 2, East Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Public Storage facility located at 1202 Southeast 82nd Avenue.
When officers arrived, the contacted the victim who said that two men armed with handguns restrained him and took keys to the facility. The victim was able to get free and have someone call 9-1-1.
The suspects left the area before the officers arrived, but police received information that the two suspects were inside the Portland International Airport.
Coordinating with the Port of Portland Police Department, both suspects were arrested without incident and turned over to Portland Police Bureau Robbery detectives as part of the ongoing investigation.
The third subject was later arrested.
