Semi carrying Nike products crashes in SE Portland
A 70,000-pound truck carrying Nike products rolled over on an exit ramp from northbound I-5 to Southeast Portland on Sunday, spilling oil and fuel and causing traffic delays.
No one was injured in the crash, which only involved the truck.
The rollover closed the off ramp and blocked traffic on Southeast Water Avenue, which is at the end of the ramp.
Oregon Department of Transportation hazmat crews responded to the scene, but the cleanup was expected to take hours. cleaning the spillage, but delays are expected to last hours.
The driver told KOIN 6 News he was hauling Nike products, though it's not certain what kind.
