LifeFlight plucks man from King City Pro Shop parking lot

After tractor rolls over victim, TVF&R and LifeFlight use parking lot for staging area

PATRICK MOORE - CLOSEST OPEN SPACE -- A LifeFlight helicopter waits to lift off with an accident vicitm from the King City Golf Course parking lot on May 8.Following an accident in nearby Tigard on May 8, a LifeFlight helicopter landed in King City to transport the victim to a local hospital.

“LifeFlight used our golf course parking lot for a staging area to take a victim to the hospital,” said J. Patrick Moore, King City Civic Association administrator.

According to Fox 12 News, emergency crews were called out to Southwest 109th Avenue near Naeve Street across Pacific Highway from King City about 4:30 p.m.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue firefighters said that a tractor rolled over a man, but he was conscious and alert when they arrived at the scene.

The victim was flown to a local hospital as a precaution, and the extent of his injuries was not immediately known.
