King City Police Log: Feb. 12 to March 7
Police took a report of a purse stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 11800 block of Southwest King James Place.
Police took report of evidence of tampering and items missing from Amazon delivery package in the Edgewater community.
Police took a report of an unknown suspect entering an unlocked vehicle in the Edgewater neighborhood, and going through the items in the vehicle. It's unknown if anything of value was taken.
Police took a report of hit and run with vehicle damage that happened at an unknown location.
Police took a report of a stolen vehicle from Imperial Avenue. The vehicle was locked at the time. Tigard Police located the vehicle abandoned, but in good condition on March 2 and contacted the victim to make arrangements to pick up the vehicle.
Police were dispatched to Grocery Outlet on the report of a vehicle driving into the store. The driver pressed the gas instead of the brake while parking in one of the front row parking spaces at the grocery store. There were no injuries.
King City Police assisted Tigard Police with a crash that occurred at Cook Park in Tigard.
Police were dispatched to a traffic crash at Southwest Beef Bend Road and 131st Avenue. A vehicle failed to yield to the blinking yellow light.
A vehicle parked at the Best Western Hotel was entered by an unknown suspect. The vehicle was rifled through and some cigarettes and a lighter were taken. It is unknown if the vehicle was unlocked at the time.
A resident reported the theft of an iPad from an unlocked vehicle. The next day the victim reported the iPad was returned.
Police arrested a Wilsonville man after a traffic stop at Southwest 124th Avenue and King Charles Avenue for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was lodged at the Washington County Jail.
