East Portland steakhouse 'shooter suspect' arrested
This story began on the evening of February 22, 2017, when East Precinct officers were called to Bill's Steak House at 10227 NE Sandy Boulevard, after a report of gunshots inside the building.
The PPB Detective Division got to work on the case, and soon developed indications that 39-year-old Brandon J. Frison was involved in the incident that evening.
"Based on information gathered during this investigation, detectives assigned to the Gang Enforcement Team (GET) believe that during the argument, Frison fired a handgun; but, there were no reported injuries as a result of the shooting," said PPB Public Information Officer Sgt. Chris Burley.
On February 7 of this year, officers with the PPB Special Emergency Reaction Team and Crisis Negotiation Team swept in, warrant in hand, and arrested Frison at the Shalamar Apartments, in the 13700 block of SE Powell Boulevard.
"During a search of Frison's residence, two firearms and additional evidence were recovered and seized," Burley said.
Frison was booked into at the Multnomah County Detention Center at 8:07 a.m. on the day of his arrest – on charges of Attempted Murder, Unlawful Use of a Firearm, Assault in the Fourth Degree, and two counts of "Felon in Possession of a Firearm".
Frison was arraigned on February 8, and is being held in lieu of $265,000 combined bail.
