FILE PHOTO - Brad Whisnant of Pinpoint Acupuncture Clinic. I have really enjoyed writing my monthly article in our community paper. It has been a wonderful 1+ year and I appreciate all your attention. This will be my final column for a while and I wanted to share with you some amazing new products and ideas we have at my clinic.

I have been treating vision issues for years, mostly abroad but, since this last April, I had decided to treat more eye-related issues such as macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa and other vision problems.

It's been quite amazing considering my partnerships with eye clinics and hospitals in China and Norway. I will also be conducting a clinical trial on vision loss and acupuncture.

If you have vision issues, specifically wet or dry macular degeneration,

I urge you all to call the office. We can offer help. It really is that amazing.

I have hired new staff and new friendly faces. We wanted to open longer hours and more days for our community.

I have invested in new technology and new healing products.

We are so much more than "just needles."

I think, finally, I have worked very hard over the last year or so to bring choices and awareness I do not do magic in my clinic and I cannot magically heal anybody. We practice medicine and — with the proper treatment, the proper medical plan and the proper communication — our clinic cannot just help you "feel better," but can really turn somebody's life around, for the better!

I even had a horrible case of back pain last year. It wasn't my back pain that was so terrible, it was the fact that I could not play with my kids. It was the fact I could not pick my child up because of my pain. I could not enjoy life, I could not engage in a fully expressed, loving fun life. It is this that we seek to help you with.

The back pain is important, yes, but it's more important to get back to living! The pain in our body is not the worst of it; the pain in our body is the worst because it inhibits us from living a "full life." This is what we focus on at my clinic with acupuncture, herbs and other modalities.

I hope to be of service to all when the time comes. We are here to help in any way we can.

Thank you for all your attention and readership over the last 1+ years in this paper.
