The latest updates on events pushed back due to last week's snow.
The latest snow storm to hit the Portland area not only created havoc on the roads, but threw a major wrench into the high school sports schedules. Most everything has been rescheduled for Scappoose and St. Helens High Schools, but things will be a bit of a mess for the next week or so.
Here's how things shake out for Scappoose:
The basketball games scheduled for Feb. 11 at home against Banks will proceed as normal. The girls take on Banks at 5:30, with the boys following at 7 p.m.
The girls' and boys' basketball games originally scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 have been moved to Thursday, Feb. 13 at Tillamook High School. The girls will play at 5:30, and the boys at 7:00 p.m.
The home wrestling dual with Tillamook, which was slated for Friday, Feb. 7 has been bumped to Thursday, Feb. 13. Scappoose will take on both Rainier and Tillamook, starting at 6 p.m.
The Cowapa League wrestling championships, were moved from their spot on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Yamhill-Carlton, and were rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at Astoria High School. The meet will begin at 10 a.m.
The Cowapa League swimming championships will be held in Astoria as well, starting at 1 p.m. on Feb. 14 and continuing on Feb. 15.
The basketball games on Friday, Feb. 14 at home against Seaside will proceed as scheduled.
And this is what the schedule looks like for St. Helens:
The swim meet on the road in Sandy on Thursday, Feb. 6 went on as planned. Results can be viewed here.
The wrestling dual at Sherwood, however, was rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Sherwood High School. The dual should begin at 7 p.m.
Friday's boys' and girls' basketball games against Parkrose have been moved to Wednesday, Feb. 12. The girls will take on Parkrose at home at 7:15 p.m., with the boys on the road at the same time.
The wrestling dual scheduled at Sandy on Feb. 13 should move forward without a hitch. The dual starts at 7 p.m.
The Northwest Oregon Conference swimming championships will be on Friday, Feb. 14 at Parkrose High School, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The basketball games against Wilsonville on Friday, Feb. 14 should also be played as scheduled, with the boys on the road at Wilsonville at 7:15 p.m., and the girls playing the Wildcats at home at 7:15 p.m.
