Sherwood superintendent appointed to state board
Pending Senate approval, Heather Cordie will serve on state Educators Benefit Board
Sherwood School District Superintendent Heather Cordie was recently appointed by Gov. John Kitzhaber to serve on the Oregon Educators Benefit Board.
The board, created by the Oregon Legislature in 2007, administers and purchases health care plans for school districts throughout the state.
If her appointment is approved by the Oregon Senate, Cordie will serve on the board for four years.
