A roundup of Sherwood police reports for the month of April, 2018. Included: shoplifting, hit-and-runs, and more.

April 1

Police arrested a man for shoplifting at Walmart. He had attempted to steal about $100 worth of merchandise.

Police arrested and charged a man with unlawful entry of a vehicle and stealing items from the vehicle at the 15000 block of Century Drive.

A woman reported that a suspicious person had been lurking around her front door at the 21000 block of Baler Way. Police reviewed video that she provided for them.

April 2

Police arrested a man from driving while intoxicated at 1 a.m. at Dewey Drive and Southwest Woodhaven Drive.

Police charged a man with unlawful entry of a vehicle and stealing items from the vehicle at the 16000 block of Holland Lane.

Unknown suspects stole a car valued at $20,000 on the 21000 block of Silo Terrace. The car turned up days later in a neighboring town.

A man reported that someone had attempted to use his identity to qualify for an online bank loan. The unknown suspect was unsuccessful.

April 3

A man reported that someone stole gas out of his truck while he was parked on the 16000 block of Gleneagle Drive.

An abandoned vehicle was towed away from the 22000 block of Highland Drive. It was a blue Volkswagen Passat.

An officer responded to a three-car collision that resulted in injury at Pacific Highway and Roy Rogers Road. Two cars were towed, and a woman was charged with following too closely behind the vehicles.

Police charged a man with trespassing at Target.

April 4

A woman reported that she found a set of keys in her car that did not belong to her at the 21000 block of Silo Terrace.

Police responded to a hit-and-run collision at Tualatin-Sherwood Road and Wildrose Place. They were unable to locate the driver responsible.

A woman left her wallet at a business on the 21000 block of Langer Farms Parkway. The wallet was located in the trash can in the men's restroom, with $400 in cash missing from it.

April 5

Police located a person behaving suspiciously at the 16000 block of Langer Drive, and brought them to Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare.

A woman was spotted stealing $4 worth of consumer goods from Safeway. The property was later returned, and police did not pursue criminal action.

An officer was dispatched to a "suspicious circumstance" at Pinehurst Drive and Fitch Court. They ended up taking a found property report and seizing an iPhone.

Two drivers were involved in a traffic accident near Pacific Highway and Sherwood Boulevard.

April 6

A woman reported that she had lost her diamond ring in the Sherwood Public Library parking lot.

About $100 worth of household goods were stolen or vandalized at someone's home on the 13000 block of Tualatin-Sherwood Road.

April 7

Police took a report of statutory rape at Enjoy Spa on Roy Rogers Road. The officer forwarded the case to a detective for follow-up.

Police charged a woman with shoplifting at Walmart. She had stolen $28 worth of merchandise.

April 8

Police received a report of a suspicious person at the 21000 block of Southwest Sherwood Boulevard. It was determined that the suspect was highly intoxicated, and police transferred him to a "sobering station" in Portland.

A man was given a trespassing warning at Target.

A man was given a trespassing warning and told not to call Old Town restaurant Fat Milo's again.

April 9

Police took a report of vandalism and property stolen from a vehicle at USI JB Insulation. About $300 worth of gas and vehicle parts and accessories was stolen.

A woman reported a hit-and-run near the 17000 block of Roosevelt Street. She had no suspect information.

A man reported that someone shot his recreational vehicle while it was parked in storage, on the 22000 block of Pacific Highway. He estimated that it had caused $2,500 worth of damage.

A woman stole $4 from the tip jar at Chipotle on Langer Farms Parkway.

April 10

A woman was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant out of Multnomah County for second-degree theft at Langer Farms Parkway and Century Drive.

Police cited a driver for failing to obey a traffic control device, which caused a collision, at Oregon Street and Murdock Road. The driver was also cited for driving while uninsured.

Police issued a trespassing warning to a man at Target.

April 11

Police arrested a woman for driving while intoxicated at Langer Drive and Holland Lane.

April 12

A man received a citation for smoking cannabis in a public place on the 20000 block of Pacific Highway.

A man reported that his identity had been stolen, and he had lost $300 as a result.

April 13

An unknown driver crashed their vehicle into the roundabout at Meinecke Parkway and Dewey Drive, causing damage to nearby plants.

April 14

An unknown suspect shoplifted from Target. They stole computer software valued at $190.

April 16

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at Pacific Highway and Langer Farms Parkway. No injuries were reported.

A person reported that their identity had been stolen, and that they lost $1,255 as a result.

A man was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and harassment on the 22000 block of Orland Street.

April 17

A case of stolen identity was reported at a business on the 18000 block of Colfelt Lane.

Police responded to a welfare check on Tualatin-Sherwood Road near Langer Farms Parkway, and subsequently seized drug paraphernalia for destruction.

April 18

An unknown suspect vandalized a motor vehicle on the 21000 block of Oregon Street, causing $500 worth of damage.

Police responded to a reported domestic disturbance on the 16000 block of Shane Court, and determined that no crime had occurred.

On the 23000 block of Main Street, a woman told police she believed a man was following her and that she was concerned for her safety.

April 20

Police responded to a hit-and-run at the 7-Eleven on Tualatin-Sherwood Road. There was limited suspect information.

A man driving a bus hit a pole on the 21000 block of Langer Farms Parkway, then drove away. Sherwood Police found security video footage showing the incident. The driver was found, and charged with filing a false report with the Tualatin Police Department. He had told Tualatin police that he had been the victim of a hit-and-run. He was also charged with failing to perform the duties of a driver.

April 21

A driver involved in a car collision was cited for following too closely, and for careless driving.

April 23

A woman reported that someone stole her vape pen, valued at $60, from her front porch on the 16000 block of Daffodil Street.

Someone stole $700 worth of accessories from a vehicle that was parked in the Home Depot parking lot.

A person found a Nintendo Switch gaming device at Tualatin-Sherwood Road and Langer Farms Parkway, and turned it into police.

April 24

A woman was arrested for stealing from Goodwill. According to the police report, she had 16 different aliases.

A case of identity theft was reported at the Kwik Star on Fletcher Terrace. Someone used a credit or debit card that did not belong to them.

A woman reported a hit-and-run that occurred on the 20000 block of Roy Rogers Road. There was no suspect information.

April 25

A man had the front license plate of his Mercedes stolen while it was parked on Pine Street near 3rd Street. There is no suspect information.

Police arrested a man on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on the 22000 block of Forest Creek Drive.

April 26

A man was given a formal trespassing warrant at his parents' home on the 23000 block of Redfern Place.

April 27

Police responded to a non-injury vehicle accident at Langer Farms Parkway and Tualatin-Sherwood Road. One of the drivers was issued a citation for failure to obey a traffic control device.

April 29

Police responded to a theft-in-progress call from Safeway, and issued the suspect a citation for attempted theft.

A man reported that his vehicle had been struck while it was parked in the Walmart parking lot.

April 30

Police recovered stolen license plates during a traffic stop at Tualatin-Sherwood Road and 95th Avenue in Tualatin.

A man was arrested at Railroad Street and Washington Street, and charged with possessing meth.

A man reported identity theft on the 22000 block of Saunders Drive. A unknown person had used his credit card number for several unauthorized purchases.

A woman on the 15000 block of Bowmen Lane reported that she had received several harassing telephone calls.

Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at Pacific Highway and Elwert Road. One of the drivers was cited for following too closely.

A woman reported that her ex-partner had violated a restraining order by driving by her home on the 21000 block of Cedar Brook Way. Police later arrested him.
