Portland hosts another organic beer festival

Want to sip 50 organic beers and ciders from around the country?

They’ll be available for tasting next weekend, at the ninth-annual North American Organic Brewers Festival in Portland.

The four-day event starts Thursday, June 27, and goes through Sunday at Overlook Park, North Fremont Street and Interstate Avenue. Hours will be noon to 9 p.m. Thursday to Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is free.

Drinkers must pay $6 for a reusable (and compostable) corn starch glass, and then $4 each for full glasses of beer.

Minors are welcome with parents.
