Portland General Electric is offering a two-fer for the environment for customers who agree to get their bills electronically instead of via snail mail.
PGE will donate $1 to Friends of Trees for every customer who goes paperless on their bills between now and April 15.
Going paperless, of course, saves on paper and the cost of stamps. Signing up to get electric bills via the Internet also gives customers the ability to view bills going back the last three years.
