COURTESY FRIENDS OF BALTIMORE WOODS - The nonprofit Friends of Baltimore Woods holds its annual native plant sale on March 31 in North Portland's St. Johns neighborhood, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be a generous selection of Pacific Northwest native plants at reasonable prices, including native oak community plants and hummingbird, butterfly, and bee favorites.

Get there on the early side to have your pick of the plants.

The sale takes place at St. Johns Plaza, on North Lombard and Burlington, near the east end of the St Johns Bridge.

The Friends of Baltimore Woods are dedicated to preserving and restoring a 30-acre greenway corridor along the Willamette River between Cathedral Park and Pier Park in North Portland. It fills a gap in the Willamette Greenway and regional 40-Mile Loop trails.
