Information for the public safety column comes from public records of the Sandy Police Department. Police recently filed reports on the following incidents:

ARRESTS

8:38 p.m. April 22; Darbie J. Wilkerson, 40, Sandy, was arrested under suspicion of felony assault and theft after an altercation with her daughter with one witness. She was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $18,500 bail.

11:51 p.m. April 26; Sajid Siddiq, 27, Sandy, was arrested under suspicion of theft. He also was cited for harassment. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $3,500 bail.

6:28 a.m. April 27; Nicholas T. York, 35, Sandy, was arrested under suspicion of criminal trespass after being discovered sleeping on the porch of a building in the 39300 block of Dubarko Road. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $3,500 bail.

WARRANTS

8:10 p.m. April 23; Michael R. Scott, 40, Vancouver, Wash., was arrested near Pioneer Boulevard and Highway 211 on a Multnomah County warrant for a parole violation. He was stopped while driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail without bail before being transferred to the Multnomah County Jail. The vehicle was towed.

3:15 p.m. April 24; David D. Rose, 52, a transient, was arrested in the 39800 block of Pleasant Street on a Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear for first-degree criminal mistreatment. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $5,000 bail.

5:52 p.m. April 24; Christopher N. Winson, 46, a transient, was arrested in the 16600 block of 362nd Drive on five Multnomah County warrants for a probation violation for possession of methamphetamine, unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of methamphetamine and driving while suspended. He also was charged with possession of heroin. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $20,000 bail.

5:49 p.m. April 26; Jeffrey J. Warren, 49, Sandy, was arrested in Meinig Park on a Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear in 2008 for driving while intoxicated. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $15,000 bail.

5 p.m. April 27; Kellina A. Ramirez, 31, Sandy, was arrested at a residence in the 18900 block of Wallingford Avenue on two Clackamas County warrants for failure to appear and criminal trespass. She was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $50,000 bail.

CITATIONS

3:06 p.m. April 22; Joshua S. Hume, 26, Portland, was cited and released at a business in the 16600 block of 362nd Drive, accused of theft. Hume was excluded from the business.

4:34 p.m. April 26; Shasta T.M. Phillips, 21, Sandy, was cited and released at a business in the 16600 block of 362nd Drive, accused of theft. Phillips also was excluded from the business.

BURGLARY

5:03 p.m. April 25; a woman living in the 39200 block of Hood Street reported that someone had attempted to open her window during the previous night. No suspects were identified.

THEFT

11 a.m. April 23; a young man reported that his skateboard had been taken from the parking lot area near a business in the 39600 block of Proctor Boulevard the previous evening. No suspects were seen or reported.

4:58 p.m. April 26; a man reported that his vehicle, which was parked in the 39600 block of Dubarko Road, had been entered and a tool bag had been taken. No suspects were seen or reported.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

8:08 a.m. April 24; overnight someone broke a window at the men’s restroom in Meinig Park. The window was reported with a value of $100.

MISCELLANEOUS

7:37 p.m. April 28; Three transients were excluded from all city parks for 30 days after displaying unacceptable behavior in a public place. The men cited by police include Rick A. Castro, 51; Wayne A. Herrick, 53; and Richard A. Cruickshank, 27.

LOST AND FOUND

9:48 a.m. April 24; Police were notified there was an abandoned bicycle in Barlow Park. The bike was placed in the police property room for safekeeping. Later, the bike’s owner came to the police department to claim his bike.
