Elliot Frank and Madeline Forinash were married Saturday, July 1, in the historic St. Anne Chapel at Villa Academy in Seattle.
The 5 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Fr. Stephen Rowan.
Madeline is the daughter of Greg and Cathy Forinash of Shoreline, Wash. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Portland and is completing her PhD in Applied Behavioral Analysis at Teachers College-Columbia University in New York City.
Elliot is the son of William and Jacqueline Frank of Welches. He is a 2008 graduate of Sandy High School and 2012 graduate of the University of Portland.
Elliot is completing his master's degree in Geoinformatics at Hunter College of CUNY in New York City. He works part-time for the City of New York Department of Transportation.
Margaret Betts, a longtime friend of the bride's, was the maid of honor. Also attending the bride were her sister, Caitlin Forinash, and close friends Elizabeth Hepp, Katie Doyle and Michelle Valasquez.
The groom's brother, Walker Frank, served as best man. Groomsmen were Will L'Hommedieu, Simon Forinash, Simon Hepp and Sean Kendrick.
A reception followed the ceremony at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. The couple was toasted by family and friends from all regions of the United States.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Kauai, Hawaii, and are making their home in New York City.
