Helping Seniors Manage Chronic Disease
Presented by Bill Cohen of Cohen Caregiving Support Consultants
Are you caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or dementia?
Bill Cohen is a guide for such caregivers. His mother lost her home to Hurricane Katrina, then lost her life and her artistic abilities due to Alheimer's.
For 10 years, Cohen was her primary caregiver and advocate, experiencing all stages of his mother's memory loss. He knows firsthand what family caregivers experience.
He helps family caregivers cope with dementia care, using a wraparound approach to coordinate with the patient's support team.
Tuesday, June 27, 1:30-3 p.m.
