Westside Christian High School is celebrating its new home at Pacific Highway and Highway 217 with an open house on Monday beginning at 7 p.m.

The private Christian high school is located at 8200 S.W. Pfaffle St. Students began classes at the school last week.

“While our new campus is exciting, Westside has never been about bricks and mortar,” said Westside's President Andy Sears. “Equipping the whole student has been central to the school’s approach since its founding 32 years ago."

The evening offers prospective students and their families an opportunity to learn about the school.

“Now, more than ever before, it’s time to take a close look at your high school options,” said Brett Meyers, Westside’s admissions director. “Westside offers small class sizes, an exceptional academic program, more teaching days, an inviting and close community, and a solid all-around program. Unlike at bigger schools, Westside’s size is conducive to much higher student involvement in athletics, the arts and student leadership options.”
