TIGARD

The Tigard Police Department reported the following arrests from Dec. 27 to Jan. 2: criminal mischief — 2, criminal trespass — 2, driving under the influence of intoxicants — 2, interfering with a police officer — 1, theft — 2, warrant — 2.

Monday, Jan. 2

• A drunk passenger was found passed out on a bus at the Tigard Transit Center, 8972 S.W. Commercial St.

• A man walked through the woods behind a house in the 14800 block of 109th Avenue.

• A man with a gun reportedly robbed Richard's, 11945 S.W. Pacific Hwy.

• After finding tires dumped on his property in the 9000 block of Center Street several days earlier, a man reported that more tires had been left nearby again.

• Someone stole items from a vehicle in the 7000 block of Elmhurst Street. The vehicle may have been left unlocked.

• People argued in the parking lot of Habebi Hookah Bar, 11652 S.W. Pacific Hwy., but eventually calmed down.

• Someone forced entry to the Oregon Ki Society, 12700 S.W. 68th Ave., breaking glass to get inside.

Sunday, Jan. 1

• A man who may have been impaired was observed to be yelling and screaming outside a house at the corner of Barnum Drive and Ashwood Street.

• A person was detained in the area of Milton Court and Bonita Road after two people reportedly fought in the street.

• Someone was seen with an open container in the parking lot at the 76 gas station, 15900 S.W. Upper Boones Ferry Road.

• A man screamed about "God and violence" in the 17000 block of 92nd Avenue.

• A "very large rooster" was among six loose chickens walking down 78th Avenue in between Pfaffle and Spruce streets, worrying someone concerned about roosters' reputation for unfriendliness. The chickens eventually went home for the night.

• Someone broke a vehicle window and stole an emergency repair kit from inside in the 9000 block of Hall Boulevard. The crime was reportedly captured on security video.

• The manager at Jack in the Box, 13090 S.W. Pacific Hwy., said a customer threw things at him before running away.

Saturday, Dec. 31

• A man reportedly punched a woman and broke a glass at Lu's Sports Bar & Lounge, 11530 S.W. Pacific Hwy.

• A dog barked early in the morning in the 12100 block of Ann Place. This has been an ongoing problem.

• The exterior of Starbucks, 11636 S.W. Pacific Hwy., was tagged with graffiti.

• A man became angry when roofers blocked his way as he attempted to move out of an apartment in the 9200 block of Center Street.

• A bicycle was stolen in the 13300 block of 72nd Avenue.

• A man reportedly dined and dashed at Banning's Restaurant & Pie House, 11477 S.W. Pacific Hwy., walking out instead of paying his $50 check.

• Fifteen discs were stolen from a Redbox burglarized at 7-Eleven, 10765 S.W. Greenburg Road.

• Someone's neighbor reportedly shot a seagull off of a roof in the 13400 block of Barnum Drive.

• A man reported hearing gunshots in the area of Commercial Street and Highway 99W, but they turned out to be New Year's Eve fireworks. He then called police again to report hearing more gunshots, but they were still fireworks.

• A woman thought she heard four gunshots in the 7700 block of Pfaffle Street, but she conceded they might have been fireworks.

Friday, Dec. 30

• A checkbook was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 13600 block of Pacific Highway.

• A vehicle was "ransacked" in the 11000 block of Gaarde Street.

• Items were stolen from two unlocked vehicles in the 13500 block of Ash Avenue.

• A garbage can was taken in the 12900 block of 113th Place.

• Someone reported seeing four men beating someone up at Westside Christian High School, 8200 S.W. Pfaffle Street. Upon investigation, it turned out to be students filming for a movie.

• A woman said a man pushed her and told her to "go back to Mexico" at a bus stop in the area of 72nd Avenue and Highway 99W.

• A man refused to leave McDonald's, 11201 S.W. 72nd Ave.

• A woman was arrested for trespassing at The Bounty Hunter Saloon, 11445 S.W. Pacific Hwy., after she reportedly returned after being asked to leave multiple times and threw drinks on two bartenders.

• A woman said she thought she heard a gunshot in the 14100 block of 89th Avenue.

Thursday, Dec. 29

• A man went through recycling bins in the area of 125th Court and Falcon Rise Drive. This has been an ongoing issue.

• Someone reported seeing a man with his pants pulled down to his knees in the 11200 block of Summerfield Drive.

• A man banged on the front door of Liberty Mutual, 16505 S.W. 72nd Ave., after he was not allowed inside.

• A man allegedly made threats to a bus driver and refused commands to disembark at the Tigard Transit Center, 8972 S.W. Commercial St.

• A man was "acting strangely" at the intersection of 109th Avenue and Naeve Street, reportedly laying down in the barkdust.

• Someone reported receiving harassing text messages in the 12000 block of Westbury Terrace.

• A dead body was reportedly found in the 16100 block of 113th Avenue.

• A man said his neighbor was pounding on his door in the 14500 block of 128th Place.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

• Power tools and other equipment were stolen from an unlocked trailer at A&I Distributors, 16316 S.W. 72nd Ave.

• Someone reportedly went through a car and "attempted to punch the ignition" in the 10300 block of McDonald Street.

• A woman was detained while allegedly trying to shoplift at WinCo, 7501 S.W. Dartmouth St.

• A man reportedly left The Home Depot, 14800 S.W. Sequoia Pkwy., with a table saw.

• A man wandered around in the 10800 block of Walnut Street, stopping for a while to sit on someone's property and knock on the door.

• The manager at Burger King, 10105 S.W. Nimbus Ave., reported that an employee refused to leave after being fired and was being very rude to her, as well as to customers.

• A car was broken into in the 10300 block of Greenburg Road.

• The window of a car was broken outside Fred Meyer, 11565 S.W. Pacific Hwy., and a purse was stolen from inside.

• A car was broken into in the parking lot of The Cheesecake Factory, 9309 S.W. Washington Square Road.

• Someone reported seeing a dog left in a truck in the 12000 block of Hall Boulevard. This has been an ongoing problem in spite of very cold outside temperatures.

Tuesday, Dec. 27

• A man was seen rifling through a vehicle and stealing items from the glove compartment in the parking lot of Rogers Machinery Co., 14650 S.W. 72nd Ave.

• A male driver allegedly ran someone off Bull Mountain Road near Highway 99W.

• A woman in the 7600 block of Dartmouth Street reported receiving a call from someone pretending to be her grandson.

• A man found his vehicle "trashed" and a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses missing in the 7200 block of Bonita Road.

• What was described to police as an "old-school-style cruiser bike" was stolen from an open garage in the 12300 block of Walnut Street.

• A man said he saw four or five people "take down" another man in the parking lot of Fisherman's Marine & Outdoor, 10355 S.W. Cascade Ave.

• Three tires were thrown onto someone's lawn in the 9000 block of Center Street.

• A woman said the father of her child was threatening to kick down her door in the 9600 block of McKenzie Street.

TUALATIN

The Tualatin Police Department reported the following from Dec. 27 to Jan. 2: 622 calls for service, 16 traffic crashes and 11 arrests.

Monday, Jan. 2

• A Lake Oswego man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle in the 17900 block of McEwan Road.

• After he reportedly left the scene of a crash in the 19200 block of Martinazzi Avenue without providing information as required by law, the offending motorist was located and cited for driving without insurance.

• Letters were scratched into the hood of a car parked in the 7800 block of Sagert Street.

• A bicycle was stolen outside the Tualatin Food Store, 8101 S.W. Nyberg St.

Sunday, Jan. 1

• Illegal fireworks were seized in the parking lot of Living Savior Lutheran Church, 8740 S.W. Sagert St.

• A vehicle may have been broken into in the 6700 block of Nyberg Street.

Saturday, Dec. 31

• A Tigard man was arrested for theft and an outstanding burglary warrant after he was allegedly caught shoplifting at Fred Meyer, 19200 S.W. Martinazzi Ave.

• A homeless woman was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 19200 block of Martinazzi Avenue.

Friday, Dec. 30

• A man found one of his vehicles unlawfully entered and fuel siphoned from a second vehicle in the 11700 block of Tualatin Road.

• Someone intentionally damaged a vehicle at Celia's Mexican Restaurant, 18770 S.W. Boones Ferry Road, causing more than $1,000 in damage.

• A man was kicked out of Stars Cabaret, 17939 S.W. McEwan Road, for reportedly causing a disturbance and failing to pay his $500 tab.

• A Portland woman was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants in the area of Lower Boones Ferry Road and Interstate 5.

Thursday, Dec. 29

• A stolen rental vehicle out of Portland was recovered in the 17900 block of McEwan Road.

• An injury crash involving a bicyclist was reported in the area of Lower Boones Ferry Road and Interstate 5.

• Someone unlawfully entered a vehicle in the 9300 block of Sagert Street.

• More than $3,000 in jewelry was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 11700 block of Tualatin Road.

• A Tualatin man was arrested for theft after he allegedly stole beer from Fred Meyer, 19200 S.W. Martinazzi Ave.

• A man punched a fence, injuring his hand, during an argument with his wife in the area of 100th Court and Tualatin Road.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

• A Rainier man was arrested for violating the terms of a restraining order in the 17900 block of McEwan Road after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.

• About $1,000 in property was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 11700 block of Tualatin Road.

• The window of a vehicle was shattered and items valued at about $250 were stolen from inside in the 18000 block of Lower Boones Ferry Road.

• Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole about $95 in items in the 11900 block of Tualatin Road.

• A resident of the 9300 block of Sagert Street lost $5,000 in a loan fraud scheme.

• A $300 tent was stolen from a vehicle in the 10200 block of Wasco Way.

Tuesday, Dec. 27

• Someone unlawfully entered a vehicle in the 9300 block of Sagert Street.

• Money was stolen from a vehicle in the 9300 block of Sagert Street.

• A Milwaukie woman was arrested in the area of Tualatin Road and 90th Avenue.

• A Tualatin man was arrested for offensive littering in the 18200 block of Boones Ferry Road.

• Several people reportedly left Buffalo Wild Wings, 8505 S.W. Tualatin-Sherwood Road, without paying for their food.
