Saturday Winter Brew Fest to benefit Tualatin High groups
The Tualatin Winter Brew Festival, a new event set for Saturday at Stickmen Brewing Hall, will benefit thehe Tualatin High School PackBackers, supporting Tualatin High School sports and athletics as well as dance, cheer and band.
The event is set from noon to 9 p.m. at the brewing company located at 19475 S.W. 118th Ave.
It will feature 20 different local brewers and cider houses, as well as some local vineyards.
The event is family-friendly and non-alcoholic beverages will be available as well.
Attendees will be able to sample a wide variety of beers and enjoy a pint or two of their favorites, such as Ecliptic's "Frosty Leo Winter Ale", a traditional old English ale style beer brewed for cold months; the winter inspired "Cranberry Gose" from Buoy Beer, or Gilgamesh's "Charlie Bruin" a Belgian inspired imperial brown aged in Pinot Port barrels, to name a few.
Of course, a festival wouldn't be complete without great food and entertainment. In addition to Stickmen Brewing's own wood fired pizza, festival-goers will be able to feast on offerings from Slick's Big Time BBQ, Matina's Ohana, and Izumi Japanese Steak House.
The entertainment stage will present local artists and bands including Ronnie Carrier, Niamh, Castletown, Tumbledown and Maurice and the Stiff Sisters.
As the event is a fundraiser for the Tualatin High School, the afternoon's festivities will be kicked off by the Tualatin High School's highly acclaimed Crimsonnaires and renowned TuHS Jazz Band.
Admission is $20 for advanced tickets or $25 At the Door.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
