Christian musicians stopping in Tigard

Westside: A Jesus Church in Tigard will host the Phil Wickham Singalong Tour on Friday, Nov. 17. Wickham, a popular Christian contemporary musician, will be joined by Mack Brock, Byron and Katie Torwalt, and Even Wickham.

The show is standing room-only, and doors open at 6 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Film tells trials of undocumented youth

The Muslim Educational Trust in Tigard will host a free screening of "Papers: Stories of Undocumented Youth" the evening of Saturday, Oct. 28.

"Papers" tells the story of undocumented youth in the U.S., and the challenges they face as they turn 18 without legal status.

The film was produced in Portland by Graham Street Productions and a team of youth producers, including undocumented youth.

The Trust is at 10330 S.W. Scholls Ferry Road, Tigard. Doors for the screening open at 6 p.m., and the movie runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. A discussion will follow.
