One of Woodburn’s only realty companies has moved across town to avoid construction headaches.

Richard and Rebecca Siewert, owners of Estates Realty, Northwest Classic Properties and Woodburn Property Management, have moved from their spot on 2265 Country Club Road to a house on 1290 Young St., located just east of Highway 99E.

“Because of the chaos there with the construction and people having a harder and harder time getting to us, when our lease expired we thought we would find another place,” said Richard Siewert.

Siewert has been owner of the trio of companies since 1996.

They purchased the new building, which is a house on the corner of Highway 214 and Silverton Avenue, and moved in this June.

“It’s a great location, a great little office, lots of parking and we can do advertising on the street with signage that we couldn’t do at the other place,” Siewert said. “We’re delighted. It’s improved business, it’s easier to find, and there are no construction worries.”

The move also helps the couple distance from the Estates area, which is only one part of town they cover.

Estates Realty, which Siewert said has been at the Estates longer than any other business, still works with residents of the 55-plus community, but Northwest Classic Properties deals with realty for any home.

Woodburn Property Management works with owners to manage rental properties, specializing in single family homes.

“We’re here to serve the community fully,” Siewert said.
