"Woodburn police officer arrested on sex abuse charges of a child."
"Woodburn man sentenced to nearly 8 years for sex abuse."
"Former Woodburn police officer pleads guilty to sexual misconduct in a patrol car."
Today residents of Woodburn cannot tell the difference between the criminal activity of our police officers and local citizens here in Woodburn.
Chief of Police Jim Ferraris, you own this as a paid public servant charged with providing accountability and for protecting our city.
You've failed in the basic interpretation of leadership.
The city council must address your lackluster performance immediately and start the process of finding a new chief that can cease the embarrassment displayed by our police department personnel and especially for our city of respectful law abiding citizens.
This is shameful.
