More than 300 Woodburn High School students attended the International SnoBall 2014 on Feb. 1.

The event, which had been put on hold for the past few years due to budget cuts, was by: WOODBURN HIGH SCHOOL - Woodburn's Academy of International Studies leadership group helped bring back the school's winter formal dance, which was celebrated at Woodburn Health Center Feb. 1.brought back by the Academy of?International?Studies leadership group.

Silverton Health donated the conference center at Woodburn?Health Center for the dance, allowing the leadership students to come in on Friday to decorate for the next day’s activities. The event was also sponsored by Gap, Vans, Luis’ Taqueria, Al’s Garden Center, Bi-Mart and Hallmark Properties.

“I was really excited to see our students on Saturday,”?said AIS Principal Victor Vergara. “They were dancing and enjoying the opportunity. Many of them thanked us for the opportunity and were asking when the next dance is going to be.”
