North Marion High School's annual Husky Boot Camp is open for registration.

The athletic training camp consists of two week-long sessions at the North Marion High School athletic campus led by football coach Doug Bilodeau and his training staff. Participants will be led through a series of exercises designed to develop cardiovascular and muscular health.

The camp is open to all ages. Early registration costs $20 for each week-long session and includes a commemorative t-shirt. Prices rise to $25 after the June 20 early-registration deadline.

The first session runs from July 10-14, while the second session is July 17-21. Both sessions are from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

The high school weight room is open to all participants from 7:15 to 8:45 a.m. all throughout boot camp at no cost.

St. Paul coach openings

St. Paul School District is seeking to fill openings for a variety of assistant coaching positions at the high school level.

Openings are available for varsity boys basketball, varsity volleyball and girls basketball.

Sand Green Open

The 2017 Mick DeSantis Memorial Sand Green Open golf tournament is open for registration. The annual 9-hole tournament will be hosted on July 9 at the Woodburn Golf Club located at 7899 Highway 219 across from the Woodburn Dragstrip.

Registration is $40 or $150 for a group of four. Champions for men and women will be tabulated by gross score. All other prizes will be handicapped by the Callaway System. The tournament includes a raffle, prizes, pastries and coffee, lunch and an 18-hole practice round.

To register, mail checks payable to "Woodburn Golf Club" to Woodburn Golf Club, c/o Gary Kilgore, treasurer, at 6355 S.W. Carman Drive, Lake Oswego, OR, 97035, or drop off a check and registration at the clubhouse. Registration should include the name, phone number and email address of each player.

Cutoff for registration is June 30.

St. Paul Hall of Fame

The St. Paul School District has announced its 2017 Hall of Fame inductees.

Individuals include Nick Schneider, Tod Bos, Debbie Eder and Jack Mullen. The 2017 class also includes the 1992 state champion girls track and field team, the 1970 boys 4x100 relay team and the 1970 4x400 relay team.

The ceremony will be Oct. 6 during halftime of the home football game versus the Kennedy Trojans.

LEaRN Golf Tournament

The seventh annual Oregon Golf Tournament returns to Evergreen Golf Course in Mount Angel on Aug. 5. The annual fundraiser for the Latino Education and Recreation Network (LEaRN) costs $240 per team of four and includes 18 holes of golf, a power cart, lunch, raffle ticket and opportunities to win a number of prizes.

Check-in is at 8 a.m. with the first tee time at 9 a.m. Registration ends Aug. 1.

Tournament proceeds go to help fund LEaRN, which seeks to provide college scholarships for local Latino seniors who seek to continue their education after high school.

Gervais Alumni basketball Game

The Gervais varsity girls basketball team will be competing against an alumni squad at 7 p.m. June 29 at Gervais Elementary School. The event will be free to the public with donations accepted to support the girls basketball program at Gervais High School.

Links for Ladies lessons

The Woodburn Women's Golf Club is hosting the last of an instructional series called "Links for Ladies" at the Woodburn Golf Club on June 15.

The one-hour session is free courtesy of The Aldrich Group and David Buck CPA, and open to women of all ages to learn the game, share light-hearted competition and build lifelong friendships through golf.

Lessons take place from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Woodburn Golf Club, located at 7899 Highway 219
