Money from tickets will fund a $1,000 scholarship for a West Linn High School student

Quilt raffle tickets sell for $1 each or six for $5. Club members will be selling tickets at a plant sale this Saturday at Bolton Primary School starting at 8 a.m., as well as in front of the West Linn Albertsons store on Blankenship Road on May 25. The winning raffle ticket will be drawn at the club's annual English Tea on June 1 at the historic McLean House, but raffle ticket holders need not be present to win. Tickets for the tea are $10. The $1,000 college scholarship is based on academics and community service. Over the years, the West Linn Riverview Lions have presented $23,000 in college scholarships.
