The Lions took care of that at the North Oregon state tournament, held Friday and Saturday at West Linn High School.

Now, West Linn has set its sights on the 2017 Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament, set for July 24-28 in Calgary, Canada.

The team includes C.J. Jones, Colin Driscoll, Blake DeBisschop, Gavin Turner, Adam Simshauser, Caden Parker, Parker Stevenson, Gavin Haines, Ryan Talavs, Mitchell Duea, Kyle Sullivan, Zac Hoover, Clay Masters and coaches Ray Pearson, Tim Driscoll and Rob Hoover.

West Linn opens pool play against North Washington at 1 p.m. Monday, faces Alberta, Canada, at 4 p.m. Tuesday, and plays South Oregon at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Championship play begins on July 27, with tournament semifinals set for 4:30 and 7 p.m., and the regional championship scheduled for 10 a.m. July 28.

The regional winner will then advance to the 14U World Series in Glen Allen, Va., fro Aug. 10-17.
