Police Log

The Wilsonville Police Department operates under contract with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office. All reports are listed chronologically. All persons listed within are innocent of any charges lodged against them until proven guilty in court.

ROBBERY

11/29 6:30 p.m. A robbery was reported at the Wilsonville Albertson’s pharmacy in the 30200 block of Southwest Boones Ferry Road. The suspect reportedly was targeting the drug Oxycontin.

BURGLARY

11/27 1 p.m. A burglary was reported at a residence in the 29500 block of Soutwest Milano Lane. The victim previously reported having a truck stolen while a house key was inside. He suspects the same key was then used in the burglary, which resulted in the theft of jewelry. No suspects were identified.

THEFTS

11/24 6 p.m. Three utility trailers with customized interiors were reportedly stolen from a business in the 28100 block of Southwest Boberg Road. The suspect(s) would have needed a vehicle to accomplish the heist, but a responsible party has not yet been identified. One trailer was valued at $18,000, the others at $12,000 each.

11/25 11:40 p.m. A 1998 Honda Civic was reported stolen from outside a movie theater in the 29300 block of Southwest Town Center Loop. A window was broken to gain entry. No suspects were identified.

11/26 5:45 p.m. A vehicle parked in the 29800 block of Southwest Town Center Loop West was reportedly broken into and a purse stolen from inside. No suspects were identified.

11/27 10:37 a.m. A cast iron manhole cover weighing several hundred pounds was stolen from the parking lot at Pioneer Pacific College, located in the 27500 block of Southwest Parkway Avenue.

11/30 8:24 a.m. A 2000 Chrysler was broken into sometime overnight in the 29000 block of Southwest Tami Loop. A window was shattered to gain entry, but nothing appeared to have been stolen from inside.

FRAUD

11/24 6:12 p.m. A Wilsonville resident reported her credit card had been used fraudulently sometime during the previous month.

ACCIDENTS

11/21 6:44 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported at the Union 76 gas station on Elligsen Road. The suspect vehicle reportedly hit a concrete support pillar and a gasoline pump before fleeing the scene. Witnesses gave police the license number of the suspect vehicle and officers contacted the owner several hours later. He reportedly admitted to the incident and soon went back to the service station to provide insurance and other information. No citation was issued.

12/1 9:12 p.m. A driver was cited for driving without a license after backing a Ford pickup truck into multiple vehicles that were parked in an apartment complex in the 8600 block of Southwest Meadow Drive.

12/3 8:02 a.m. A motorist struck a SMART bus sign near the intersection of Southwest Parkway Avenue and Southwest Ash Meadow Road. The driver told police she was traveling around 25 miles per hour when she reached to grab something out of her purse. That cause her car to swerve, jump the curb and strike the sign. She was cited for failure to drive within her lane.

MISC.

11/21 1 p.m. Four teenage male subjects were reportedly witnessed vandalizing a wooden fence at an apartment complex in the 29700 block of Southwest Courtside Drive using skateboards, among other things. Witnesses told police they suspect the teens came from a nearby school. None were identified, however.

11/23 8:47 a.m. An unknown suspect or suspects reportedly broke the covers of 13 pole-mounted lights at the city of Wilsonville’s water treatment plant located in the 10300 block of Southwest Arrowhead Creek Lane. Private company Veolia runs the plant under contract with the city. Police suspect the person(s) involved threw rocks at the lights.
