No One Dies Alone program needs new volunteers

Marquis Care Wilsonville currently is looking for volunteers in several capacities who are willing to come to the company’s Wilsonville facility and work with residents.

First, Marquis is looking for some to lead the singing of hymns with residents once a month on a Sunday at 4 p.m. There are currently openings on the second and fourth Sundays as a result of two dedicated sets of long-term volunteers have moved away.

If you are interested and able, contact Angelica, the volunteer coordinator, at 503-682 2840.

Also, there is a need for volunteers from the Wilsonville area for the “No One Dies Alone” program, which is dedicated to exactly what the name says. Volunteers spend time with people with terminal illness who otherwise have no family or friends to be with them in their last days and hours.

If you are interested in volunteering, contact Jim Pfeifer at 800-936-4756.
