by: CLACKAMAS COUNTY JAIL - TRAVIS ANDREW WYATTThe two men wanted in connection with a pair of March 24 strong-arm robberies in Wilsonville turned themselves in to police tonight.

According to Wilsonville Police, Andrew Sandford Gossett, 20, and Travis Andrew Wyatt, 19, both turned up at the Clackamas County Jail around 6 p.m. Thursday evening, where they surrendered themselves into police custody.

No address was given for either man, both of whom now face two counts of first-degree robbery and one count each of first-degree kidnapping and second-degree assault. All three offenses fall under the mandatory sentencing provisions of Oregon's Measure 11. Total bail for each man is set at $500,000.

The two robberies caught the attention of residents in the neighborhoods lining Wilsonville's Canyon Creek Road Monday, as police scoured the area for the two men involved in robbing and assaulting separate victims early that morning.

"Our neighborhood is on high alert," one Spokesman reader shared later that day via Twitter.

by: WILSONVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT - ANDREW SANDFORD GOSSETTThe first robbery took place around 7 a.m. when two masked suspects approached a man in a parking lot off Canyon Creek Road around 7 a.m. The suspects demanded that the victim empty his pockets, stole an undisclosed amount of cash and other items and fled on foot. The second robbery was reported to police several hours later and took place near the same location as the first. In this case, a male victim also was accosted by the two suspects, robbed and then assaulted.
