THEFTS

April 8, 1:13 p.m., an unknown person reportedly stole property from a pickup truck parked in the 30900 block of Southwest Parkway Avenue at some point during the previous five days. No suspect was identified.

April 10, 8:08 a.m., a 1997 Nissan pickup truck was reportedly stolen from an apartment complex in the 28300 block of Southwest Canyon Creek Road. No suspect was identified.

April 10, 12:46 p.m., a case of identity theft was reported by a victim living in the 28600 block of Southwest Crestwood Drive. An unidentified suspect reportedly used the victim’s identification to file a fraudulent 2013 tax return with the IRS. The victim became aware of the theft when he received a rejection letter from the IRS stating he had already filed a return with the same name.

April 10, 1:24 p.m., a 1996 Saturn parked in the 25800 block of Southwest Canyon Creek Road was reportedly broken into and damaged. Nothing appeared to have been stolen. No suspect was identified.

April 10, 3:46 p.m., a case of identity theft was reported by a victim in the 11400 block of Southwest French Glen Court. An unidentified suspect reportedly used the victim’s identification to file a fraudulent 2013 tax return with the IRS. The victim became aware of the theft when he received a rejection letter from the IRS stating he had already filed a return with the same name.

April 11, 9:58 a.m., a 1996 Toyota Corolla was reportedly stolen in the 26000 block of Southwest Parkway Center Drive. No suspect was identified.

April 12, 12:41 p.m., a complainant reported a credit card in their name had been used fraudulently at a Walmart store in Knoxville, Tenn., to purchase $421 worth of merchandise. The victim stated her card never left her possession and that she had not shopped at Walmart. Investigation is continuing.

April 12, 2:45 p.m., a bicycle was reportedly stolen from underneath an outdoor stairwell at an apartment complex in the 29000 block of Southwest Meek Road. No suspects were identified.

April 7, 12:43 p.m., a vehicle parked in the 11300 block of Southwest Chantilly was reportedly keyed from one end of the car to the other, leaving a large gouge in the side. No suspect was identified, although the victim told police they suspect the incident is connected with an ex-spouse.

April 9, 5:32 p.m., a hit-and-run was reported in the 8200 block of Southwest Wilsonville Road. No suspect was identified.

April 10, 1:37 p.m., a hit-and-run was reported in the 30300 block of Southwest Boones Ferry Road. No suspect was identified.

April 11, 9:10 a.m., a traffic circle at the intersection of Southwest Brown Road and Barber Street was damaged, apparently by a vehicle that jumped the curb, sheared off a street sign and gouged large furrows in the grass and landscaping on the traffic circle. A license plate was found at the scene, and a “significant” trail of oil led south from the crash scene and turned left on Evergreen Street before turning right on Serenity Street and ending. Investigation continues.

April 11, 4:20 p.m., a car parked in an apartment complex in the 7800 block of Southwest Wilsonville Road was reportedly vandalized, apparently with a key or other sharp object, which was used to scratch the length of the car. No suspect was identified.

April 13, 3:40 p.m., a car parked in the 27200 block of Southwest Wood Avenue was reportedly egged some time during the previous night. The victim told police a number of other vehicles on the street also were damaged by eggs around the same time.
