State Reps. John Davis (R-Wilsonville, HD 26) and Kim Thatcher (R-Keizer, HD25) will host a live Telephone and Twitter Town Hall to discuss key legislation from the 2014 session, hot issues in the 2015 session, and host an overview of the State of Oregon’s forecast from special guest Mark McMullen, state economist and head of the Oregon Office of Economic Analysis.

In addition, joining the discussion will be a special guest to discuss the state of Cover Oregon and its transition to the federal healthcare exchange.

The town hall will take place on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Oregon Capitol during May Legislative Days and constituents will be able to participate by calling in by phone or asking questions via twitter and Facebook. To ensure constituents are included in the call, email your name and phone number to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. “This Telephone and Twitter Town Hall is a great opportunity for constituents to communicate directly with their Representatives from their homes. Representative Thatcher and I both have large, diverse districts, and we realize that evening town halls can be difficult to attend. This is a chance to learn about our state without having to travel,” commented Rep. Davis on the event.

The Twitter and Telephone Town Hall format will allow for both legislators and special guests, to give updates, followed by a question and answer session where participants will be able to ask questions.
