According to police, the break in at the park happened sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday, June 6, while a local family left their car parked at Town Center Park. The vehicle was entered “by force,” police said, with the suspects taking credit cards and other personal items.

The suspects, a man and a woman (see photos), then used the stolen cards at multiple locations in Tigard and Tualatin before the victim’s credit card company was able to cancel the cards.

Police, however, were able to obtain surveillance video from at least one of the businesses where the stolen cards were used fraudulently. Investigators are now using the images from that video to try and identify the suspects. The business was not identified.
