HISTORICAL SOCIETY — Community members are welcome to attend the 1 p.m. meeting of the Wilsonville Boones Ferry Historical Society at the Wilsonville Library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road. Under discussion will be history-linked events, funding opportunities and the organization and sharing of historical collections.

SURVIVOR ART — A celebration of the creative spirit of cancer survivors will be hosted at the Findley Commuity Art Gallery, 25600 S.W. Parkway Center Drive, through the month of July. An artists' reception is scheduled from 6-7:30 p.m., hosted by Wilsonville and Tigard/Tualatin Relay for Life chapters.

Friday, July 5

FIRST FRIDAY — Head to the Wilsonville Library at 6 p.m. for a free movie; this month it's a story about Saroo, who gets lost on a train in India and returns many years later to find his family; 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road.

FAMILY FILMS — Come to the Wilsonville Library at 10 a.m. for a family-friendly film; call the library to find out what's showing and bring your own snacks.

Saturday, July 8

BARN DANCE — The Friends of Historic Champoeg are hosting an old-fashioned barn dance in the Champoeg Park's historic Donald Manson barn from 6-8:30 p.m. Music by Worn Out Shoes and the caller will be Truman Price. Cost is free with entrance to the park. For more information call 503-678-1251.

WINE TASTING — Bring your own picnic and enjoy the views at the noon-6 pm. wine tasting at Terra Vina Farms, 33750 S.W. Ladd Hill Road.

DRB PANEL A — The Development Review Board Panel A meets the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Agendas and packets are available to download prior to the meeting, held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 29799 S.W. Town Center Loop E.

Tuesday, July 11

VILLEBOIS MUSIC — Head to Montague Park in Villebois for a free outdoor concert from 6:30-8:30 p.m, sponsored by Waterstone Realty Group. Listen to Tin Silver, enjoy food and beer/wine and enter a free raffle. Civil Air Patrol Aurora Composite Squadron's color guard will provide the colors and National Anthem.

PLANNING COMMISSION — The West Linn Planning Commission meets the second Wednesday of each month to review planning efforts within the city. Agendas and packets are available to download prior to the meeting.

Thursday, July 13

BOOK CLUB — Join fellow book lovers at 6 p.m. for thought-provoking conversation and lively discussion. This month it's "Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet" by Jamie Ford; 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road.

CURIOSITY CAFE — Join fellow community members for coffee and conversation at 1 p.m. This month Brad Moore will talk about "Tools for Positive Change," focusing on your strengths and desires to create an optimistic future. Wilsonville Library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road.

DRAW YOUR SWORD — Experience medieval martial arts, try on a helmet and get up close to armor and swords with Knights of Veritas. Grove Shelter at Murase Park, 11 a.m., 8300 Memorial Drive.

HEALTH FAIR — The free, second annual Community Health Fair will be hosted by the City of Wilsonville and local volunteers at Town Center Park, 29600 S.W. Park Place from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. The event will feature local health and wellness vendors, healthy cooking demonstrations, activities, free kids bike helmets from Legacy Health and the Oregon Trial Lawyers and more.

Monday, July 17

CITY COUNCIL — The City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chamber. Each Council meeting is preceded by a work session at 5 p.m. in the Willamette River I and II room on the second floor of City Hall, 29799 S.W. Town Center Loop E.

VACATION BIBLE CAMP — St. Cyril Catholic Church in Wilsonville is hosting "Wilderness Adventure Through the Sacraments" from July 10-14 for ages 5-10 years old. SHERLOCK HOLMES — Clackamas Repertory Theatre presents the comedy "Baskerville: A Sherlock Homes Mystery" through July 23. The fast-paced farce has hilarious repartee combined with quick costume and character changes, all from a four actors playing 20 roles. For more information go to clackamasrep.org.

FARMERS MARKETS — Summer is here and that means farmers markets! Students from the Clackamas Community College Horticulture Department will be holding mini-markets Wednesdays through summer, selling produce from their organic campus farm. The food cart will be parked outside the Community Center at the Oregon City Campus, 19600 S. Molalla Ave., from 11:30 am.-1 p.m. And Wilsonville's Villebois neighborhood heats up on Thursday evenings with its own farmers market, from 4-8 p.m. at Sofia Park, 28836 Costa Circle West.
