NW SPECTACULAR — The final jumping event of the season at Hunter Creek Equestrian Park, 14441 S.W. Wilsonville Road, the NW Spectacular will feature the World Champion Hunter Rider event and the $20,000 Team NW Grand Prix, the Oregon Hunter Jumper Association Medal Finals, the USHJA Zone IX Jumper Championships, the USHJA International Hunter Derby and the USHJA National Hunter Derby. The event is free to the public.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS — Learn how to prepare yourself and family for natural and manmade disasters at the Wilsonville Community Emergency Preparedness Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 29350 S.W. Town Center Loop E. Put on by the City of Wilsonville and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Wilsonville, the fair will offer survival demonstrations and resources from organizations, including TVF&R and the American Red Cross. Free lunch also provided.
STUDENT DEBT — American Association of University Women Lake Oswego Branch presents Robyn Jones, MBA, Director of Enrollment at Marylhurst University, discussing "Deeper in Debt - Women and Student Loans" at 10 a.m., 398 10th Street, Lake Oswego. Ms. Jones addresses the issue of student debt and its impact on students after college and what is being done to mitigate the burden. This event is free and open to the public.
GET CRABBIN' — Support the Clackamas Community College's wrestling program and plan on attending its annual crab feed and fundraiser Sept. 23. It's an all-you-can-eat affair, with appetizers, auction and social hour.

FARMERS MARKETS — Students from the Clackamas Community College Horticulture Department will be holding mini-markets Wednesdays through summer, selling produce from their organic campus farm. The food cart will be parked outside the Community Center at the Oregon City Campus, 19600 S. Molalla Ave., from 11:30 am.-1 p.m. And Wilsonville's Villebois neighborhood heats up on Thursday evenings with its own farmers market, from 4-8 p.m. at Sofia Park, 28836 Costa Circle West.
