Scout Troop 194 will collect trees and accept donations 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 at the Wilsonville City Hall parking lot or the Wood Middle School parking lot. Submitting grant proposals to the City

The Wilsonville Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the Community Tourism Grant Program and the Community Opportunity Grant Program. The Community Tourism Grant Program offers $25,000 to organizations that promote local business and tourism and the deadline for submission is Friday, Feb. 2. The Community Opportunity Grant Program awards funding for a wide range of local programs and the deadline for submission is Friday, March 2. Boones Ferry Park feedback period extension

The Wilsonville Parks and Recreation Department has extended its period for public feedback regarding the master planning process for Boones Ferry Park to Monday, Jan. 15.

Those interested can visit the department's website at Wilsonvilleparksandrec.com/boonesferry. The project is designed to expand the 7-acre park to include underdeveloped land between the train track and Boones Ferry Road and a 4-acre parcel the city purchased in 2015. The city is considering three concepts for expansion.
