CITY COUNCIL — Wilsonville City Council meets for a work session immediately following a closed executive session at 5 p.m. The work session will be followed by a 7 p.m. regular council meeting. IRISH SOCIAL DANCE — The monthly ceili at Winona Grange, 8340 S.W. Seneca St., Tualatin, will feature Irish fiddler Bronnie Griffin and her band, Preston Howard and Cary Novotny. The party begins at 7:30 p.m., no dancing partner is necessary. $12 tickets at the door; $10 for veterans, seniors and students.

SCOUTING FOR TREES — Local Scouts will pick up trees left at the curb in neighborhoods where residents received a flyer previously; others can drop off trees at the Wilsonville City Hall parking lot from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for recycling. Donations help Scouts fund activities throughout the year and can be sent to Cub Scout Pack 194, 29030 S.W. Town Center Loop E, Suite 202, Wilsonville.

BUSINESS NETWORKING — Join members of the Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce for an after-hours networking event and ribbon cutting at Benchmark Physical Therapy, 8642 S.W. Main St. #130, from 5-7 p.m. Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served; guests are welcome to attend to learn more about the chamber.

COMMUNITY CONCERT — Biddy on the Bench, a versatile combination of banjo, guitar, mandolin, tin whistle and four-part vocal harmony, will play at Winona Grange, 8340 S.W. Seneca St., Tualatin, for a 7:30 p.m. show. The group is grounded primarily in the folk/traditional style of Irish music pioneered by such bands as The Dubliners.
