Alcohol considered to a be a factor in crash that killed a man standing in emergency shoulder

Christopher Allen Kelleher, 56, had exited his 1997 Ford Ecoline van at approximately 6:40 p.m. and walked to the rear when a Ford F350 driven by Kenneth Lloyd Pepperling, 59, of Wilsonville, left the southbound travel lane and struck the rear of the van.

Passenger Gina Rose Marie Kelleher, 56, was uninjured in the crash.

Alcohol is belived to be a factor in the crash and Pepperling was taken into custody for DUII and an existing DUII felony warrant.
