ENGLISH LESSONS — Wilsonville Public Library is offering free English as a Second Language classes at 11 a.m.; native speakers of any language are welcome to practice vocabulary, reading and writing. Classes will be held at Wilsonville Parks and Recreation, 29600 S.W. Park Place.

THEATRICAL READING — Clackamas Repertory Theatre presents a reading of Lucas Hnath's "The Christians" at 3 p.m. Hnath's most recent play won eight Tony Awards. HISTORY PUB — The Wilsonville Public Library Foundation, the Wilsonville/Boones Ferry Historical Society, and McMenamins have teamed up to present monthly programs focusing on Oregon's rich history. This month, it's Lynne McKee, former FBI Art Theft Program Manager, who will present 'About 19th Century Archaeological Discoveries', with the talk beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Wilsonville McMenamins Old Church, 30340 S.W. Boones Ferry Road. Seats are limited so get there early.

EGG HUNT — Marquis Wilsonville, a senior living facility, is hosting a free Easter event, with a 3:15 p.m egg hunt and refreshments; 30900 S.W. Parkway Ave., Wilsonville.

EGG HUNT — Wilsonville's annual Easter egg hunt begins at 10 a.m., with staged areas for kids 1-11 years old. Bring your basket to fill; prizes and gift baskets will be given away. No registration required. Memorial Park ball fields, 8100 S.W. Memorial Drive.

HEART DISEASE — American Association of University Women Lake Oswego presents Dr. Kim-Hien T. Dao, who will speak about her cancer research on developing treatments to stop the development of leukemia: "Clonal Hematopoiesis: A Newly Discovered Risk Factor for Blood Cancers and Heart Disease" at 10 a.m. April 14. The free talk will be held at Oswego Heritage House, 398 10th Street, Lake Oswego.

SPRING GARDEN FAIR — Clackamas County Master Gardeners ishosting its 34th annual garden fair, with vendors and 10-minute gardening classes. Also featured are an ask-a-master-gardener booth, activities for kids and an iris show. Clackamas County Event Center: 694 NE 4th Ave, Canby, Oregon 97013. Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission is just $5 with under 16 free, always FREE parking and ATM's on site.  Please remember the fairgrounds is a non-smoking facility, and no pets - service dogs only please.
