This is the time of year when we are thinking of our loved ones and how we can shower them with gifts. This is also the time of year when charitable organizations come out of the woodwork asking for your time and your money.

Last week, we asked you to shop local and support your neighborhood businesses. This week, we are asking you to give local and support your neighbors. Consider making a donation in honor of those on your gift list rather than giving another scented candle, a Phillips screwdriver or a box of golf balls. From art to culture to community events, there is something for everyone on your gift list right here in Wilsonville.

The nonprofit organization connects private individuals, businesses, local churches and service organizations to families in the Wilsonville community that are in need of a complete meal and/or toys this holiday season.
