College basketball: Wilsonville alums Kevin Marshall, Mike MacKelvie finish season at Regis
Former Wilsonville teammates Mike MacKelvie and Kevin Marshall were productive in their one season together on the Regis mens basketball team.
MacKelvie started 24 of the 26 games in which he played, averaging 10.9 points and 5.4 rebounds in 29.3 minutes per game.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound senior guard, who transferred from Alaska-Anchorage, made 44.6 percent of his field-goal attempts and cracked the 20-point mark four times. He scored a season-high 24 points in the Rangers win over Western State (Colo.).
Marshall started 24 of the 25 games in which he played, averaging 9.8 points and 3.2 assists in 33 minutes per game.
The 6-foot, 160-pound sophomore point guard logged double-digit points 12 times, including a season-high 22 points in Regis win over Johnson & Wales (Colo.) in November.
The Rangers ended their season on an eight-game losing streak, finishing with a 7-20 record and a 4-18 mark in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
