The Wilsonville boys lacrosse team reached the state round of 16 for the second year in a row under coach Joe English, but its season ended in a 20-9 loss at the hands of third-seeded Jesuit on the road May 27.

The Wildcats, who defeated Tualatin in the opening round of the OHSLA playoffs six days earlier, gave up a season high in goals as the Crusaders extended their winning streak to 10 games.

Wilsonville finished its campaign with a 14-7 overall record.

The Wildcats pulled with 10-7 early in the third quarter, but Jesuit rattled off a 7-0 run to put the game away.

John Hodson had four goals to lead Wilsonville in the last lacrosse game of his high school career. Twelve different players scored for the Crusaders.
