WHS students cap a week of homecoming festivities with football Friday night


Students at Wilsonville High School wrapped up a week of homecoming festivities with a football game Friday night against Milwaukie.by: SPOKESMAN PHOTO: JOSH KULLA - Fans react to a play during the homecoming game against Milwaukie.

During the week, students showed their Wildcat pride by dressing according to daily themes. Monday was lazy day, with students showing up in pajamas and sweats. The student body’s energy level built during the week, through jersey day, twin day, superhero day and culminating in Wildcat day on Friday, when the school colors — blue and gray — dominated the halls.

Queen Christie Halverson and King Husam Zaidan were crowned, surrounded by the rest of the court. The princesses, Madeline Ochs, Taryn Rawlings, Morgan Pina and Bess Kitzmiller, were joined by their princes, John Hodson, Timmy Bourque, Patrick Flynn and Derek Sunkle. All members of the court are seniors at WHS.
