Books are at Boeckman

Fathers are especially encouraged to shop the book fair Nov. 15 from 8 to 8:30 a.m. for the school’s first Dads and Doughnuts event. Dads are invited to enjoy a doughnut while browsing the book selection with — or without — children. The book fair will close at 1 p.m. Nov. 15.

Test your FlashAlert subscriptions

As winter nears, the school district reminds families to update their FlashAlert subscriptions to stay on top of weather-related school closures and delays. Many previous subscriptions were removed during a routine system cleanup this fall, so everyone should access the system online at flashalert.net/news.html?id=19. Use the “Subscribe” or “Manage My Existing Subscription” links to update options.

On Oct. 30, a flash alert was sent during the morning. If you did not receive that test alert, you should log on to the FlashAlert system to update your subscriptions.
