Lowrie Primary community comes together to prepare for the first day of school

On Saturday, Aug. 19, families from the Lowrie Primary School community, Cub Scout pack 199, Lowrie PTA, and the Wilsonville Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teamed up for some much-needed yardwork ahead of the first day of school. More than 75 people were in attendance, ranging all the way from ages 3 to 80. Weeds were pulled, blackberry vines cut and removed and two large trucks of debris hauled away. When the work was done, the popsicles and conversation started, capping off a successful day of beautifying Lowrie.
