This week features three projects under construction including 9101 S.E. Foster Rd., Oliver Station and Duniway Park

Under construction:

9101 S.E. Foster Rd. PAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: JULES ROGERS - A public courtyard on the ground floor and on-site parking are included in the plans.

District: Lents

Developer: Prosper Portland

Contractor: Bremik Construction

On October 8, 2016, Prosper Potland broke ground on the first of several projects in the Lents Town Center urban renewal area. This mixed-use, mixed-income project plans to have 54 housing units and 7,500 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Sixteen of the 54 apartments will be at an affordable rate.

Under construction:

Oliver StationPAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: JULES ROGERS - The two sites were formerly home to the New Copper Penny, a problematic bar, and a Chevron gas station.

District: Lents

Developer: Palindrom Communities

Designer: Ankrom Moisan Architects

This project broke ground on December 8, 2016. It include two buildings on two sites across Southeast 92nd Avenue from each other. Combine, the two building plans add 126 affordable apartments and 19 market-rate units to the neighborhood. Plans include 29,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor, alongside parking.

Duniway ParkPAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: JOSEPH GALLIVAN - The track and field portion of the project is completed.

Developer: Under Armour

An ongoing project since January 2016, construction for the Duniway Park Track and Field improvements include pedestrian lighting, a synthetic turf field, and an eight-lane 400 meter track with high jump, long jump and pole vaulting events. The partnership with Under Armor was announced in January 2015.

The project includes exterior alterations to an existing, former YMCA building that will replace and increase windows, recladd the building in new metal panels and enclose some open-air areas to add new lobbies, bike parking and parking lot screening. It will be occupied by Under Armor.
