1119 S.W. Park Ave.
Developer: Portland Art Museum
Designer: Hennbery Eddy
Contractor: Mortenson with KPFF Engineers
On Feb. 14, the Portland Art Museum held its first public function in the Kridel Grand Ballroom since a portion of the ceiling fell in last September. After introducing curators for shows about Mount St. Helens and a survey of painter Robert Colescott, Museum Director Brian Ferriso reassured patrons as they wined and dined that the ceiling above them was now secure. The museum rents out space in the Mark Building, and for several months during the repair large meetings moved to venues such as the Nines, the Downtown Hilton and the Sentinel hotels
